Sigma Media Player is an open source multimedia player, based on VLC media player and is licensed under the GNU General Public License Version 2

Sigma Media Player Pro and Sigma Media Player Free are written in C/C++.

At least the code that is written specifically for Sigma Media Players is, most of the other code is written in either C or C++.

The VLC code used is just a slight modification of the original VLC 2.1.0 source code.
